Tonight at 8:00 PM we’ll have our neighborhood emergency response container open to conduct radio checks with all of the emergency response teams around the Monterey Peninsula. We’ll be broadcasting from our container in the Tot Lot on Spray Ave.

Monterey has three FCC-licensed frequencies that are dedicated to our emergency response communications. If you would like to participate please send me a message as I have a few extra radios. These are part of the City’s Community Emergency Response Team.
