Our neighborhood has been selected to receive Nearby Neighborhoods, a new feature that allows us to communicate with neighborhoods close to ours. Communicating with nearby neighbors is helpful for:

* Banding together with nearby neighbors to look out for each other and prevent crime.
* Expanding the search for a lost pet.
* Rallying several neighborhoods to support a local cause.

Your privacy will not be compromised. Nextdoor members in nearby neighborhoods can only see posts that we explicitly choose to share with them, and they can never see any of our private content, or our neighborhood directory.

Before the feature rolls out later this week, you can view our list of nearby neighborhoods and personalize it to ensure that you only hear from the neighborhoods that make sense to you:
